Marion Martineer

Marion Martineer is the former coordinator and a founding member of The Ten Penners when the group officially took on the name with their first anthology, Shock! Horror! Gasp!

Stepping into that role from Maria O’Donnell who had been the co-ordinator more than sixteen years. Then for the following period until January 2022 Marion guided our group through monthly meetings, learning and growing our writing skills, we published two further anthologies under her guidance:- Fan-Tas-Tic-al Tales in 2009 and Mystery, Mayhem & Magic in 2017.

Marion was pivotal in ensuring we also visited several schools to present our anthologies and sold copies of both these anthologies when we showcased our books.

 

She loves escaping into the various worlds and lives of her characters. Among other scratchings, she has two children’s fantasy stories in the pipeline that may make it into the big world of publication someday.
 

In the meantime, she can be found exploring and working at the family farm where Marion and her husband Jason, take care of two cats, two dogs, chickens and their small goat herd. You can find Marion on her blog at http://marionmartineer.wordpress.com
