Book Review and Events...

This is The Ten Penner's latest anthology. Along with our previous books, Fan-tas-tic-al Tales, Mystery, Mayhem & Magic, they are available in the Gold Coast Library system.

You can also buy them through the authors. Contact me below for your signed copy and I'll send it to you. Halfway through the year, Christmas will be here before we know it. It's a great time to plan for your children's treats. Young readers just starting on chapter books will be excited to receive this book.

This is an eye-catching book from the cover to the titles. I love the various characters and the variety of magical scenes in the stories.

Who couldn't fall in love with a quirky witch who flies with her Poo Boom cat on the back of her broom with a kink in the handle?

The Pixie Hollow Heroes, are two boys who find more excitement than they can handle when they fall into a mirror and drop into another realm.

The stray was a talking dog with attitude. The Fart Fairy had me giggling. There were concerts in the backyard and a cute cat called Sunshine who saved the day.

Tabitha finds a treasure in a box full of junk.

Jeremy Albatros builds a rocket with recycled op shop junk. The Quoggle is a firm friend.

The handsome but lonely woodcutter, has his heart melt with love, for a baby he finds in the woods.

Theo the orange octopus wants to wake board and he gets his wish!

Dougie dreams of being a soccer star even though he thinks he can't.

There's a Fright Night, Trees alive in the backyard, and much more.

This is a terrific book for young children to read themselves, or for parents to read to them.

We are presenting our books at the local Libraries throughout the year.

So far we've been to Upper Coomera, Runaway Bay Library, and Robina Library, and shortly we'll be at Helensvale Library. We've also been to a pop-up shop at Runaway Bay Shopping Centre thanks to Gold Coast Writers.

More about this exciting part of my writing life. I'm the coordinator of The Ten Penners and am proud to showcase this book while planning more activities to present it to the world.

Stay tuned for our next event soon.
