We set up our table displaying our Activity Kit which is the prize for the colouring Competition. Our Books for Backyard Beasts & Curious Capers at $20, and the old books were also on sale with this at a bonus price of $40 for the 3, or $35 for the 2. 1 x Backyard Beasts, $20, plus 1 x Mystery, Mayhem & Magic $35, or add Fan-tas-tic-al Tales for $40.
Then we had our 'visitors' arrive - Floriece the Witch (aka Jill), The Pixie Detective (aka Kate), and Jeremy Albatross (aka Marion).
The Cupcakes turned out well but we couldn't give them to customers! Drat!
We'd forgotten about centre management rules!
We signed all the books we had and sold a good lot. We're happy that the day went well.
Next weekend Kate and I will be at Big B Books in Burleigh between 10 am and 12 noon. I hope you'll join us there. Marion is driving back to her farm and we won't see her again for a little while except on FaceTime Room.
