Lisa Brincat (AKA L.M. Brincat) loves stories, games, and the magic of imagination so much that she decided to create her own. As the author of the Pick a Path adventure books, Lisa writes interactive stories where readers become the hero, make choices, and shape their own endings.

Lisa has published multiple children’s books, including Battle Royale and Escape Star Park, and is currently expanding her GlitchBLOX series. Her books are designed to take the energy of video games and turn that fun into page-turning adventures for gamer kids and reluctant readers.

When she’s not writing, Lisa works as a management consultant, helping organisations solve complex problems and bring big ideas to life. She brings that same structured thinking and creativity into her storytelling, designing branching paths, hidden clues, and meaningful choices for her readers.

Lisa has always loved books that spark imagination and adventure. Some of her favourites include The Faraway Tree for its whimsical worlds, Oh, the Places You’ll Go! by Dr Seuss for its life lessons, and Harry Potter for making magic feel real.
